Halloween Cocktail 1: Raven’s Blood Brew
I was at a party supply store the other day and noticed something of an unusual product: Wine labels for Halloween.
Basically, you find a cheap and nasty bottle of plonk, and provided its label is small enough, you slap one of these over the top and give it as a gift.
Or make your own concoction, as I have decided to do.
All up, there are five different labels, and in the lead up to Halloween, I have decided to use these as motivation to make a range of Halloween cocktails! I figure if people actually like them, I might try to push them to a certain goth club that has a cocktail bar at the bottom floor… so if you like them, comment on them please.
This week’s is the Raven’s Blood Brew.
Glass: Martini
Ingredients:
- 30ml Creme de Fraise
- 15ml dry Gin
- 120ml Soda water
- 3 drops of black Sambucca

Your link to the certain goth club doesn’t go anywhere but here, darling. Still, can’t wait to try this.

Yeah, that’d be the autolink script…
The first time it says “goth club” in any post, it’ll automatically link it to the front page because it’s the title of the blog. I’m not sure how to turn off that particular one, but it works nicely for some of the others, so I don’t have to remember to link to the names of authors or films, etc.
