Each year in the Queen Victoria Gardens, somewhere between the roar of StKilda road and the quiet buzzing of all the demon insects that are starting to hatch in their quest for blood, for one day each year there is a place where we can lay down our rugs and kick those teddybears out of their supposedly hallowed ground!

That’s right, teddies, time for our picnic. The one you never invited our Carl Cthulhu’s or Chuckies or Living Dead Dolls to because you’re discriminatory bastards!

My insane ranting aside, it should be a fun day for everyone provided the weather holds out.

You’ll want to bring:

• Picnic blanket, or ludicrously long trenchcoat
• Snacks & drinks – possibly enough to share because that’s how you make friends
• Plates, cutlery & cups
• Camera
• Sunscreen
• Stereosystem of some kind

Now it should be pointed out that this isn’t an all-in-gothfest, but a classier affair! People should dress to impress in Victorian inspired finery. Yknow, Elegant Lolita, Steam Punk/Neo-Victorian, Rococo, Baroque, etc.

Sin gets naughty with a Uniform theme night to get everyone in the mood to party like when we were in the motherland.
Dj’s Jon Madd and Smut are prepping all their best music for the night so get ready, get dressed and be set to party with us.
It will be a killer mix of Electro, Eighties, Industrial and all the things that fell in between the cracks.
Doors open from 10pm and we go till late.

NEO fetish/gothic is, for want of a better word, and interface point between fetish and gothic nightclubbing.

Every 4th Friday at ABODE, 374 St.Kilda.rd, St Kilda, the club offers a variety of activities for the curious, the regulars, and the members. Originally starting upstairs in what was the members only area, it has since expanded and moved downstairs, allowing for a larger number of people, and a wider variety of displays.

Some drinks are brought on by a nee to look cool. Other are brought on by the requirement of using the latest ingredient in the liquor cabinet. Sometimes you just need something cool and refreshing, like beer, but without the bloating, like drunk yobbos. Some drinks are so amazingly awesome that it’s hard to think that no one has ever mentioned them before… not even in their most bored, alcohol induced hazes. And some drinks come to you because you’re too lazy to reach past the first two things in the liquor cabinet, and there’s lemon juice in the door of the fridge.

Behold the culmination of all of the above unlikely scenarios!
