Other than having a name that’s about as practical as my ex-favourite Degraves.st cafe, Guess, (ex because it changed hands, although all the staff remained the same, including one friend of mine that seems to basically be living a life of indentured servitude there, working off his year12 coffee tab), Club Unknown promises to break the Perth based monotony and provide you with somewhere to go to on the weekends other than Sin.

Located at 45 Murray.st, Perth, and on every Saturday night from 10pm until late, Club Unknown will be playing different sub-genres of gawth each weekend of the month. (more…)

Ring in the new year with the sounds of brass bells, grinding gears, and alcohol saturated steampunks, for Euchronia is on again.

Euchronia is smashing New Year’s Eve party if one is intending to “gawth it up”, or of a want to cosplay, has not been invited to a high society function, or merely wishes to avoid the blaggards that abound during the year’s end. (more…)

So with all the work I’ve been doign for Manifest, I figured, fuck it I need a drink.

Last year I made one after the mascot, Peppa Chan, but this year I’ve decided I hate her. Hate her with a passion only born of complete and utter neglect and then having her intrude on my psyche once more. So what else can I base a drink on and draw inspiration?

Well, if rumours are anything to go by, one of the guests I’ve been arranring is something of a party animal and he could probably do with a drink too, so let’s make a drink for him, and one of his better known roles. (more…)

This week’s drink is a shooter.

Lately I’ve been feeling less inclined to drink for flavour, and more to simply get smashed. However, one must keep up appearances, like waiting until the alarm for 4:00pm to begin drinking in haste. (more…)
