This week I present you with possibly my most universally liked drink. So universally liked, in fact, that there are a few bars in Melbourne that use the recipe (although unlike a certain one in Elsternwick, they’re polite enough to credit me for it, and not pretend like one of their own staff members came up with the recipe).

Frankly, I’m aware that Southern Comfort is much maligned in the general drinking community. It’s two distinct flavours: Bourbon and Peach. Some people don’t seem to think they work well together. Others just ended up drinking an entire bottle, spending the rest of the night throwing up and pissing all over a friends bathroom. (more…)
